The Namiki Chinkin fountain pens are hand-crafted using the ancient Japanese Chinkin (Gold Inlay) technique. Motifs are carved into the lacquered surface with special chisels, and after inlaying lacquer in the grooves, the artist places gold leaves and gold powder. The delicate three-dimensional final depiction overflows with expression.
