Venezianico Redentore Avventurina 40 Automatic Watch with Blue Dial.
Inspired by the Basilica del Redentore, Andrea Palladio’s Venetian church, the Redentore Avventurina 40 has a dial cut from aventurine, the glass Murano glassmakers discovered in the 17th century by spilling copper fragments into blue glass paste. The technique was codified in 1644, and the glass is still cold-cut like a hard stone. The stainless steel case measures 40 mm and is 11 mm thick.
The Japanese Seiko NH35A automatic caliber drives the hours, minutes, and seconds beneath a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The case back is secured by 6 screws and engraved with the Basilica del Redentore.
The blue dial is cut to a 0.4 mm layer on a brass base. The blue Italian leather strap fastens with a buckle.

What is the Basilica del Redentore?
The church Andrea Palladio raised on the Giudecca in Venice, the work that carried the neoclassical line into architecture. The Redentore line takes its name and its proportions from it. Venezianico was founded in late 2017 by brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli while they were studying at Ca’ Foscari in Venice, and is based in San Donà di Piave.
Will the dial look exactly like the photograph?
The pattern on it is cut from a natural material, so the veining, the figure and the distribution of light differ from one piece to the next. The color and the finish match the photograph. The grain is unique to the piece you receive.
How thick is the stone on the dial?
It is cut to 0.4 mm and laid over a brass base. That is what lets a natural stone dial fit a case of this depth, and it is also why the pattern you get is a single slice of one piece of rock.
What do you do if it has stopped?
Turn the crown about 20 times to wind the mainspring, set the time, and put the watch on. The weight inside then keeps it wound as long as you wear it most days.
How hard is the sapphire crystal?
Synthetic sapphire sits at 9 on the Mohs scale, just under diamond, so the everyday abrasives that mark a mineral crystal do not scratch it. Sapphire is brittle, however, so avoid sharp impacts along the edge.
