The Pelikan M200 Brown Marbled combines shades of brown with black resin parts in a finish reminiscent of polished marble. Its swirling, pearlescent pattern varies from one instrument to another, so each example has its own arrangement within the brown color palette.
An anthracite-tinted ink window provides a view of the reservoir, while 24k gold-plated decorative rings and the beak-shaped clip complete the exterior. The polished stainless steel nib is gold-plated. Made in Germany, this special-edition fountain pen uses a piston filling system for bottled ink and closes with a screw-on cap.
It is 125 mm long with the cap closed. The barrel measures 121 mm in length, and overall length with the cap posted is 150 mm. The barrel is 11 mm wide, and the pen weighs 7 g without the cap.

Will the marbling look exactly like the photograph?
The swirling, pearlescent marbling differs between individual Brown Marbled pens. The color palette remains brown, but the arrangement of the pattern varies, so the photograph shows one example of the finish.
How can I check how much ink is left?
The fountain pen has an anthracite-tinted ink window through which you can see the reservoir. This transparent window is a separate feature from the brown marbled finish.
Does it use cartridges or bottled ink?
It uses bottled ink and has a built-in piston filling system. Turning the filling knob operates the piston to fill the internal reservoir; it does not use cartridges or a separate converter.
