As seems to be the case more often than not, Timex delivers excellent bang for your buck here. I was a little worried that the case finish would be a let down, largely due to the rendering of the watch in the gallery on Timex's official site, but my concern was unwarranted. The rubber strap is excellent and feels higher quality than some much more expensive gear. Little touches like the Explorer logo on the crown and Timex logo on the strap fastener also make this watch feel more premium than the price would suggest. The star of the show is the simple, pilot style face with nicely lumed numeral indices. In retrospect I realize it reminds me of a Laco pilot watch that I always loved but was a little out of my price range when I was interested. Excellent service from Iguana as well, I got an email informing me that there would be a delay in shipping, and when I asked a question I got a response quickly - then somehow I ended up receiving the package a day early!
This is my 3rd Visconti and 2nd Rembrandt. This nib is the smoothest writer. The ink flows well and looks great. I've only used a Visconti cartridge. Soon, I'll try the converter and try some other inks.

I was eyeing this pen for quite a while and finally decided to treat myself and pull the trigger. The pen was delivered very quickly, quicker than expected honestly, but I am not complaining in the slightest. The actual Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age fountain pet itself came well packaged, with warranty and the nib out of the box wrote and continues to write spectacularly, especially given that there were some concerns about nib quality issues with Visconti that I heard of. However, with my Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age FP, those issues are non-present. Overall I had a great experience with IguanaSells and will definitely be doing business with them again. PS; they do an internal quality assurance test too, so that’s always a nice bonus to have especially given the money being spent in this particular case.
I got a Scribo Flow with a Flex M nib and it writes wonderfully. The pen is light and comfortable to hold and I enjoy the feel of the matte ebonite. Customer service was excellent as well, as usual.
I was interested in testing the Fine Flex nib, which is probably more accurately described as a soft nib with semi-flex capability. The writing experience is lovely and the chatoyance is unbelievable. Very happy with purchase.
This is a lovely Sailor pen; it's so cheerful that you can't help smiling while you use it. The nib is ultra-smooth, the pen seems to glide just above the paper's surface.
