The Homo Sapiens Crystal Dream Double Reservoir is a unique demonstrator with a large window cut into the pens barrel offering a view of stored ink in the larger ink reservoir and a smaller window in the ring around the pen’s grip offering a view of stored ink in the pen’s second smaller ink reservoir. The user is able to fill the pen with the equivalent of 10 cartridges of ink, and thanks to the two reservoirs, prevents ink from leaking during air travel. It is a musthave for a true Visconti fountain pen collector.
The advantage of this over the Visconti Homo Sapiens Lava is the two see through ink chambers. You can see how much ink you have available and the colour if you put the pen away for a while. The ability to move ink to the main chamber away from the Nib and seal off the pen so that it will not leak onboard pressurised aircraft makes this perfect for my purposes.
Surprisingly light for its size and materials used. Not really able to use it posted as the cap becomes loose easily and it is a bit unwieldy. But very light and comfortable if not posted.

The product arrived very fast and the price on the website was the price I paid since it includes all charges needed to ship it internationally, even outside Europe. The customer service representative was very timely in sending me pictures and a video of the pen before sending the product, upon my request. I would buy from Iguana again for sure.
Regarding the product, it’s great. A bit on the drier side than I expected, but it’s writing wetter with use.
