This Aurora has a sunny, happy disposition and makes me smile. The Aurora Stub nib is a fantastic writer. It is more like a cursive italic and makes me mindful of the angle of my hand, but produces great results in adding interest to my handwriting.

The Aurora Talentum Big Classic is an exceptional expression on all fronts: weight, design, aesthetics, style, and most of all the “total” writing experience. It is an undeserved “underdiscussed” writer from a pedigree of such upmarket models and I feel, honestly, shames them, even at their higher price points ((88 and Optima, I am peering over my readers at you). The Talentum is perfect in its proportions and size for all-day journaling or quick-jotted notes, or the occasional flash upon scribbling a signature. I love my Talentum… wished I’d purchased it earlier in my collecting, as many others (including Sailor and other familiar high-market brands) would not have had places in my display or pen cases.
