Whether you are an expert in fountain pens, or just starting out in this fantastic world, certain questions are recurrent among users.
The essential thing to understand how a fountain pen works is to know its anatomy and components.

However, when the ink flows out of the reservoir, a vacuum is created, which, if not regularly filled with air, prevents the ink from continuing to flow. The ink flows down the grooves at the bottom of the feeder channel by capillary action, while the rest of the channel is easily filled with air.
