- This Namiki Nippon Art Origami Rabbit fountain pen features an Origami Rabbit, a symbol of fertility and reproduction. It is also associated with the arrival of spring and the metaphorical rebirth of the world. This pen was created through a collaboration of maki-e artists (Kokkokai) and features the Hira Maki-e technique, where the lacquered main design is adorned with sprinkled gold and silver powders. Several additional layers of lacquer are applied, and once hardened, it is polished.
