This line brings a menagerie of talismanic creatures to life using the mystical, delicate art of Maki-e. Founded in Kyoto in 1661, Zohiko is Japan’s leading exponent of luxury lacquerware. Each Kitcho piece is handcrafted by master-artisans in Kyoto and Bassano del Grappa, using the Urushi lacquer brushwork and Maki-e applied to acrylic barrel.
